Freedom to me means to be able to express who you are, and feel safe in a place where this no judgment. My mom and sister are two of my biggest supporters. They have allowed me to dress how I please as long as I feel good in it, and I know other people have been told by their parents not to wear certain things. They have made me feel safe and understood regardless of how embarrassed or ashamed I may be to share my mistakes. These two wonderful women have allowed me to feel free in a world so stubborn and unsafe. They give me comfort when I am carsick or homesick; just by having one of them with me I feel at home. I love feeling free in my family, and feeling so understood as a teenager who constantly messes things up.
