Being free means to not be shackled or in bondage to anything—financially, emotionally, physically, mentally, or otherwise. You are free. Creating this project has definitely shaped my opinion a lot. Before, I was very confused and felt like being free had to be one thing, but ultimately looking at all the similarities in the answers I got has given me a lot to think about. This piece is very important to me because it shows my thought process and my freedom through a screen. It shows how I was able to apply my freedom through creativity.

After doing this project, I discovered my own idea of what freedom meant. Initially, my goal was to create a project that would get me an A, and I hope I achieved that. But ultimately, I found that I was trying to figure out what freedom was in my own mind. Not others’. I hope the audience understands that freedom and the idea of being free isn’t the same for everyone. But it’s important to find your own version of freedom. (Something that doesn’t cause harm hopefully!)
