To me, being free means letting my imagination do what it wants and having the knowledge that my dreams could potentially become reality. Having the freedom to daydream about the future and what I want my perfect world to look like, and not being scared to say it out loud to friends and family.

I made this piece on impulse. I did not think, I just felt. I spent days trying to do what I thought would be good, but I’ve learned that I don’t need a solid plan to create what I want or make my dreams a reality. I also know that I don’t need others to “get me”, because they don’t see the work I put into my dreams. They see the results, or they see the flaws when I try and fail. But I see the hard work that goes into the dream, so it is that working to achieve my dreams that gives me freedom.
