I think being free means being confident in yourself and being able to do what makes you happy. This message is personal to me because I’m still working on being confident in myself and finding things that make me happy. I think everyone is a slave to something, but if you’re true to yourself I believe that you’re truly free. I had to think about this question for a long time because, at first, I didn’t think that I had experienced real freedom before. After a while of thinking, I think freedom is being able to travel to different places and still feel at home. Being in Japan with my host family made me realize how much freedom I have because moments like these don’t come often.
