In my experience, to be free means that people leave you alone, especially police officers. My own experience is that I have witnessed riots and protests with signs that say “Black Lives Matter” and “Defund the Police” and “Stop Police Brutality”. One experience I had was my bigger brother had a gun drawn on him by the police for no reason.

As I was completing this project, I realized that I worry about other people and their safety. I chose to use this music video to convey my message because it discusses what freedom is to our generation right now. After viewing this piece, I hope my audience feels free and powerful, and I hope they understand what’s going on in the world.
